Age And Alcohol, While Older, Less Tolerant










If you've always felt that resistance to alcohol and it is not easy to go overboard for a drink, perhaps with age I have noticed otherwise. If you are a woman, the American Heart Association (American Heart Association) recommends you consume one alcoholic beverage per day. This equals 12 ounces of beer or 4 oz. of wine, for example. But remember, that regardless of the passage of time, alcohol brings other risks: take over increases blood pressure, obesity , the likelihood of stroke (stroke or cerebral vascular accidents), diabetes , breast cancer , accidents, suicide and of course, predisposes you to become dependent (alcoholism).
